Stuart’s Short Stories Liverpool Prize Draw Rules/Terms and Conditions
The prize draw is open to residents in the UK aged 18 or over except anyone professionally associated with the draw or members of their families, including NWDA and Vivid staff. The prize is subject to availability, non transferable and does not include any additional costs such as additional meals, travel expenses, room service etc. No cash alternatives.
It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by the rules.
The winners will be drawn at random from all entries received by the closing date (31st December 2009). No responsibility can be accepted for corrupt or incomplete entries. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
Full Rules:
- Entries must be received by 31st December 2009.
- The winners will be drawn at random as soon as possible after the closing date and will be notified within 2 weeks of the draw taking place. The winner of the first prize is required to contact the NWDA to confirm acceptance of their prize as soon as possible after notification. In the event of non-acceptance within the specified period, or if the person is not contactable, the NWDA reserves the right to reallocate the prize awarded to the next randomly drawn valid entry or to forfeit the prize.
- The prize draw is open to all residents of the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands aged 18 or over excluding employees of the NWDA and their immediate families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
- Only one entry per person allowed.
- The first prize is a night’s break for two people (sharing) in 62 Castle Street, Liverpool including evening meal for two in Chaophraya, Liverpool (all subject to availability). Prize also includes £50 shopping vouchers for Liverpool One. Prize to be taken, subject to availability, before June 1st 2010 (on a mutually suitable date). All additional spend incurred by winner must be paid in full by the individual. The prize does not include other meals, travel expenses, bar bills or anything not specified as part of the prize above. 5 runners up prizes of a signed copy of each of three Stuart Maconie books (Pies and Prejudice, Adventures on the High Teas and Cider with Roadies). The prizes will be awarded to the first names drawn at random and the winners will be notified of the full details within a fortnight of this draw. The NWDA’s decision is final.
- The prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative.
- The competition will be promoted by the NWDA online and via printed publications.
- Entries coming via prize draw services/businesses or originating from automated programmes are not valid
- Open to adults aged 18+.
- It is a condition of entry that the terms and conditions of the prize draw are accepted as final and that entrants agree to abide by the rules. No correspondence will be entered into.
- The NWDA will not accept responsibility for loss of entries through technical fault, postal/transmission delays or incomplete, illegible or other damaged entries. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances the NWDA reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value.
- English law applies.
